Collection: Routine Parasite Screening: Find the Right Pet Test

Which parasite test does my dog or cat need?

Kedi Labs offers three levels of parasite screening so you can choose based on your pet's symptoms, exposure risk, and how broadly you want to test.

Basic Fecal Parasite Screen (O&P): A lower-cost starting point that uses microscopy to look for common intestinal parasite eggs and organisms.

Basic Fecal Parasite Screen + Giardia ELISA: Adds targeted Giardia antigen testing to traditional microscopy.

Parasite Detect PCR: Uses molecular testing for broader parasite detection, including organisms that can be missed by microscopy.

The Kedi process

Choose your level of testing → collect a stool sample at home → send it to Kedi with the included shipping materials → veterinary laboratory testing → receive results → share them with your veterinarian and decide what comes next.

Routine screening is not a substitute for veterinary evaluation when a pet is seriously ill. Persistent or severe diarrhea, repeated vomiting, marked lethargy, dehydration, significant blood in stool, or rapidly worsening symptoms should be evaluated promptly.
